This sailboat for sale Chien Yu Polaris 43 is a unique boat, there are only 6 units in the world, designed and built by the renowned Taiwanese manufacturer, Chien Yu. Launched in 1980 and with a major refit in 2019, this Polaris 43 is a mid-size sailboat that combines elegant design with agile and comfortable performance.

With an overall length of approximately 13 meters, the Polaris 43 boasts remarkable space both inside and on deck. Her quality design by Robert Perry (designer of Tayana and Valiant among others) offers stability, living space, comfort, and elegance. The cleats and windows of this boat are made of bronze.

As for its interior layout, the Polaris 43 features a main cabin, with a spacious salon that includes a living area, a dining area, and a well-equipped galley. It also offers a double cabin and a bathroom. Importantly, all the interior furnishings are made of solid teak.

In terms of performance, this sailboat is equipped with a new Nanni N4.50 55hp engine with only 150 hours that provides good maneuverability. Her hull design and hydrodynamic shape allow for smooth and stable sailing, even in the most challenging sea conditions. With a closed stern and raised bow, this sailboat is conceived for ocean crossings and comfortable life on board. As for her maneuvering, it is all forwarded to the cockpit, with 6 self-tailing winches.

In 2013, the standing and running rigging, Furlex furling, genoa, and mainsail were installed.

In 2019, this boat underwent a major refit with a new engine, all new electronic navigation equipment, new batteries, renewed and revised electrical installation, a new galley and refrigerator compressor, etc.
