VIKING 62 EB
VIKING 62 EB
Yacht for sale Viking 62 EB of 19 meters in length of the year 2017 in Genoa, Italy.
Known as "Tia" this 2017 19.15m long, 5.65m beam motor yacht is for sale in Santa Margherita Ligure in Italy.
The flybridge mirrors other new-generation Viking, with a center console helm station, three Murray Products pedestal seats with ladder backs, lounge seating to port, starboard, and bow with stowage under each, and a freezer and beverage cooler box.
The cockpit has two levels of 172 square feet. On the upper level, the observation mezzanine is designed to keep guests cool and dry thanks to the flybridge overhang, as well as away from the crew working in the lower cockpit.
Lifting the hinged seat covers under the Sunbrella cushions reveals a freezer and access to the engine room. A compartment on the lower level stores bulky equipment, while rigging drawers are integrated into a molded console on the starboard side. A refrigerated beverage box doubles as an entry step to the salon.
The 62 EB's profile is a statement of intent. The uninterrupted length extends gracefully from bow to stern. Nearly two meters of freeboard forward along with the smooth crown of the flush foredeck are aesthetically pleasing to the eye and increase headroom in the forward cabin.
A new engine room fascia design with longitudinal fins gives the boat the illusion of speed even at rest while keeping the machinery space dry and supplying a blast of combustion air.
It is a masterpiece of Viking tradition with a fusion of cutting-edge engineering. To optimize its strength-to-weight ratio, the resin-cored composite hull is infused with a high modulus of Dupont Kevlar, carbon fiber, and selected knitted fiberglass laminates to reduce weight while increasing the overall physical properties of the structure. Similarly, interior cabin doors and hanging lockers, as well as locker fronts throughout the yacht, incorporate honeycomb cores to further reduce weight.
The 62 EB model features recessed engine cooling water intakes, and a refined propeller cavity inlet for improved flow to the five-bladed wheels for reduced noise with improved traction. A modified strut and rudder architecture add up to an efficient, slippery running surface that delivers speeds in excess of 40 knots with CAT Acer c32 torque of 2,000 hp.
On the three-cabin plan, each stateroom has a private bathroom and fiberglass shower stall. Yet all staterooms offer generous amenities.
