The BORDOGNA MACPI shipyard was born from the passion for the sea of Comendador Bordogna, a well-known safe manufacturer who, used to metal carpentry, decided one day in 1979 to build himself a motorsailer, called SERIKAL. In fact, at that time the safe company, and therefore also the construction site, was called BORDOGNA E MACPI and later, due to the division of the partners, it was renamed BORDOGNA.
The first construction was followed by 6 or 7 other boats, which positioned the shipyard very well in the motorsailer market, with sizes from 18 to 23 meters, always in steel and with different layouts.
The production continued until 1990, year of construction of the last 23 meters boat, still built for personal use, which bears the name of SERIKAL 3, succeeding its predecessors SERIKAL and SERIKAL 2, being the first models were designed by GIULIO RAINES. That is why, we are in front of the first SERIKAL of the prestigious shipyard BORDONA MACPI.
This boat is currently in need of a complete aesthetic and electronic restoration, being its engines, generator, sails and rigging in good condition.
It should be noted that the hull of this boat is made of steel. It also has a very spacious salon, central cockpit, 5 cabins, 3 bathrooms and full kitchen.
The last maintenance of antifouling, anodes, engines and generator was in August 2021; date in which she passed the Spanish technical inspection of ships (ITB) for a period of 5 more years.
This boat can navigate in zone 2 or up to 60 miles from the coast at the moment according to its documentation and is equipped with all the necessary rescue material to navigate in this zone.
